The Friends of the Nightingale Macmillan Unit are a group of people who voluntarily give of their time to increase public awareness of the needs of the patients receiving care at the Nightingale Macmillan Unit, London Road, Derby, to raise funds and invite and receive donations from persons and organisations in order that they are able to meet the requests placed upon them for additional equipment and or services, with the aim of improving the quality of life of those cared for by the medical staff and volunteers at the unit.
